All is well with school. I was hoping for a great year. 1st Hour Physics: This is a great class. I know about half the class and will probably know the rest very soon. The teacher is nice, gives lots of extra credit, and seems to know how to have fun. Thanks to Anthony's advice, I now know why the answers to the physics pre-test seemed wrong....god my teacher must think I'm a dumbass. The math portion was the only easy part. The physics portion with all this weird stuff like inertia and resistance and gravitational pull...yeah let's hope we can all get that by the end of the year lol. 2nd Hour Trig/Discrete Honors: Yeah this class is boring because my teacher is very unenthusiastic. She seems to be a decent teacher which is good I guess. Nina, John, Joo, and Brittany are in the class so that makes it better. 3rd Hour Symphony Orchestra: Ah, another year of orchestra. The class is always fun, and the music is always great. Being stand partners with Liz Mutter and sitting near Shreya just adds to the fun. Camp is next, next week. 4th Hour 10H Eng Lit/Com: The teacher of this class is really nice. It sounds like her class might be a little tough, but at least we will actually learn. This is one of my favorite classes because I'm friends with so many people in the class. I sit by Ariel and Marisa. 5th Hour Spanish 3: Davies is a pretty boring lady haha. We haven't done anything...at all. She is pretty nice though. However, I don't know many kids in my class. I would've been so happy if I had the same spanish class from last year. They were all so friendly and our whole class knew each other within 2 weeks. I have seen them all and had small talk with them since last year though. 6th Hour AP AM History: Keoleian scared the crap out of me on the first day. He's the funniest teacher I've ever had, but he's also a little crazy...in a good way maybe. He seems to really like me now and talks with me a lot. Everyone knows everyone in the class, so we're all very relaxed. We have a test over chapters 1-4 from the summer, and we will all probably fail. But that's okay, since most of us have 254/250 points already from the quiz, and the summer homework. MYS: The new conductor for symphony seems to be much better than Mr. Miller. We're playing great music and our group is very talented. I am looking foward to the first concert. This year should be an amazing year. Oh, tennis sucks. |
